About Doc Pratt Ministries

A 501(c)(3) public charity in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio — built around one simple promise: nobody walks alone.

Doc Pratt Ministries was founded by Amy C. Pratt — author of Going Beyond a Round Tuit, doctoral student in social psychology, and lifelong neighbor of the people we serve. The ministry exists to help anyone, no matter where they're starting from, take the next honest step.

Our work is built on the Six Dimensions framework, the Going Beyond curriculum, and the slow, steady community we are creating at Doc's Place.

About Amy

Amy C. Pratt

Amy C. Pratt is a life coach, curriculum designer, and nonprofit leader who helps people move from stuck to steadily thriving in real life, not just on paper. Drawing on decades of hands-on ministry, homeschooling, and community-building, she designs practical tools that make growth feel doable, especially for people carrying trauma, ADHD, or long-term stress.

Doc Pratt Ministries (DPM) was founded in honor of Amy's dad, “Doc” Pratt, a beloved community leader and physician who lived an exemplary life which inspired DPM's mission: “Building Community. Pursuing Excellence. Going Beyond.” Amy is DPM's Director and created the Going Beyond curriculum, a full-year pathway that weaves together The Six Dimensions of Health & Wellness: emotional, mental, physical, vocational, social, and financial. Her work combines her doctoral research in social psychology and habit change with a deeply relational, faith-based approach so participants are assured that this time their efforts affect real change that lasts.

Amy's teaching style is clear, down-to-earth, and highly interactive. She is known for turning complex ideas into simple, repeatable steps, and for building communities where people feel seen, safe, and encouraged to keep going, one small step at a time.
